Congratulations, it's a blog!

Well spike my hair and call me hip, because I finally broke down and created a blog. I've always shied away from the idea of a public journal. I don't even keep one for myself, what could I possibly want to share with John Q. Public? However, I have seen through good examples that blogging can be fun and a very cool way to keep up with family and friends. Thanks a lot Mom, Emily and Anna.
So this short little snippet is my initiation post, please to enjoy.
This blog is solely for the purpose of keeping our families up to date on our lives and adventures. While I will try to type in the best English I can produce, and I will try not to bore to you the red X, I make no guarantees of the entertainment or educational value of this blog. I hope that our families will subscribe and stop in to visit from time to time. :)
So, a little about us. Most likely you already know it all, because if you're reading this you're probably a relative or good friend. But suck it up! I'm blogging and you should like it!

I am Sarah. I will be the primary author of these posts, though I'll try to guilt the hubby into posting something once in a while. I'm 27 years old and I don't have anything to brag about except for my amazing family. I come from a household of eight. The six children that my parents began with (the Super Six) have gone and exploded, raising the toll to twenty seven and a half. Us plus spouses plus 15 1/2 grandchildren. And only 3 of the Super Six have had any kids!
A year and a half ago I married an amazing young man named Matt. We had a humble yet beautiful wedding (more on that later) and we have been living and working here in Ohio ever since.\

This is Matt (the hubby). This picture was taken just a few weeks ago and I love it. He doesn't like it but too bad for him! Matt is 26 and comes from a lovely family of 4. He was born in Monroe, Michigan but grew up in Columbia, South Carolina where his parents and younger sister still live.
Matt is in the process of preparing for school. He will be attending Full Sail University later this year where he will study game development. Since his early childhood, Matthew has loved video games, as most boys do. But he has a passion for creation and a knack for programming, and is determined to make his own games. He will earn a 4 year degree in 21 months and then will be on his way to the job of his dreams.

There is so much to say and write about, but I will keep this first entry short and simple. I still have to work on designing my spanking new blog.
Thanks for reading, more to come soon!
